Walking can give us a chance to spend time being mindful without taking any extra time out of our day. Wherever you are walking to or from today, turn it into a meditative exercise. Walk slowly, paying attention to the sensations on the soles of your feet. Notice as each part of the sole, from heel to toe, touches the ground. Lifting, moving, placing. Lifting, moving, placing. Notice how the body moves, walk with awareness, one step at a time.
